The attacks on Trayvon’s reputation in the media are disgraceful, and disrespectful to his memory and his mourning family:
Though I didn’t die as victim of mistaken identity, I have emotions that live next door to the emotions of the Martins. In (FLORIDA)a similar situation, I was beaten by law enforcement as they said I, “fit the desciption of someone they were looking for. After it was found that I was the wrong guy, they changed everything.
I was falsely charged & threatened with a life sentence as a way to cover up what really happened. However, there was a mother and her son witnessed the incident and were willing to support me through trial… NOT GUILTY – I am still free!!!!
So, when I hear “Trayvon Martin”, I realize, the license to kill has been legally offered to non felons. As a result felons, more so, blacks, are direct targets;
It is a hard job for most blacks – staying out of prison and the grave…
It’s a job!!!
The media has a tendency to misrepresent the true nature of issues.
Ultimately, we want Zimmerman charged and tried along with the officers working to cover up the truth.
